“Pebbles” t-shirt fundraiser for Kearra Amaya Gopee’s Autonomous Artist Residency
Help us raise 5k in support of Kearra Amaya Gopee’s autonomous artist residency.
We are excited to launch a t-shirt fundraiser in support of Kearra Amaya Gopee's autonomous artist residency near their family home in Trinidad and Tobago.
Drawing on Barbadian poet and academic Kamau Brathwaithe's poem "Pebbles," our limited edition of 50 shirts are screen printed locally in Brooklyn on tie dye black and gray Dyenomite shirts. Shirts are available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large at a sliding scale of $50 – $150; our goal is to raise 5k toward the fundraiser's total of 35k by the end of October.
We are asking folks to donate directly to the gofundme and fill out the form to confirm your order. If the average donation is $100, we will reach our 5k goal. Shirt pre-sales are available between Tuesday, October 15th and Friday, October 25th and will ship mid-November.
