ANNOUNCEMENT: Summer 2025 Open Call Resources

opencall #resourcelibrary #ungovernablestudy

25 new works of poetry, zines, mutual-aid organizing, study guides, artworks, and indie publications in our library.

Lenapehoking (Brooklyn, NY), Summer 2025

It’s a delight to share 25 new resources gathered as part of our 2025 Ungovernable Study open call! 🌿

Gathered alongside materials that coalesced through CLPP steward, kimi malka hanauer’s ‘ungovernable’ at Printed Matter this past spring, this open call asked contributors to consider:
︎How does ungovernability manifest in soft, intimate, and unruly moments of negation in the everyday spaces of our lives?

︎What do collective acts of non-cooperation have to offer long-term movement and organization building?

︎How could ungovernability as a vision for collective life without rule shape our daily existence as governed subjects?
You can now find the newest library contributions scattered throughout our digital stacks across various themes including: abolition, cooperation, exile, disability justice, stories, sickness, translation, movement, queer, rage, ungovernable, and more.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to submit their work to this evolving collection: Carnation Zine, giorgia sage, dreamscroll, WHAT WOULD AN HIV DOULA DO?, aleksander aleksander, Catherine Chen and Noemi Press, Amaryllis and Amaryllis Ara, Kodi-Anne Brown, Saint-Saëns Aşli and Justine-Marie Williams, Amaryllis Ara, Akasha Rabut, Isaac Maluhia Castillo, Christine Santos, Dani Beyene and Des, Ж, The Pleasure Doms, Chinyere Erondu, The Fashion Humanism Book Club, Auden Tura and Ella Spitzer-Stephan, sick comrade, Lora Mathis, and Singer Joy. Thank you to CLPP assistant editor, Anna Cho-Son, for supporting the making of this collection!

Our library gathers an emergent collection of materials that may move us toward a horizon of autonomous collectivities despite and in the cracks of empire. Please make sure to *double click* the themes on the digital interface. To contribute your materials to the evolving collection, please see below.

Ultimately, the cacophony of materials which are gathered here attempt to extend and sharpen the values which undergird this work. When thinking through your contribution, you are encouraged to read our 2022 publication that offers a set of conversations on the emergence of the Center and the ethical boundaries this work is guided by:
